Thankfully for the massive success of the live-action Sonic movie, it seems that the Blue Blur is back and here to stay! So, where did Sonic go and why are so many people excited to see him return? Let’s journey through Sonic’s storied history and see what answers we might find.

Archie, Betty, Veronica, Reggie, and Jughead. For 60 years these timeless teenagers have been the center of a never ending fountain of ice cream socials, school dances, and good clean fun in their home town of Riverdale. Recently I attended an Archie panel at San Diego Comic Con where for the past decade the question is always, “is Archie still relevant?” Surprisingly the answer remains yes!

Once you crack open Bone, inside you will find the Tolkien parallels well earned. The excitement begins with the three Bone cousins being run out of Boneville and heading out into uncharted territory. They meet dragons, humans, rat creatures, and all manner of life as they explore the “Valley” with a wonderful concoction of slapstick humor and crazy adventures.

One thing that immediately separates Owly from the other comics we’ve featured here on Kid Galore is the book is primarily wordless. This makes the lovable little Owly accessible to all ages, but particularly enticing to your youngest children. The books are bright, vivid, and full of discovery and adventure.
